Using either our survey drawings or the proposed architectural plans, we create a fully detailed 3D model of your home. This allows us to understand every aspect of the space and maximise its potential before any interior design work begins.

During this stage, we develop the interior architecture, spatial layouts, lighting concepts, electrical layouts and bespoke joinery proposals, ensuring every space functions beautifully and flows seamlessly.

Once complete, we present the proposed layouts and concept direction for approval. Depending on the project, this may include multiple layout options, concept boards and design studies, allowing you to fully understand the vision before progressing to the detailed design phase.

Once the spatial design is approved, we develop the full interior design scheme, transforming the layouts into a fully realised design. Every detail, from architectural elements and bespoke joinery to furniture, lighting, kitchens, bathrooms, artwork and styling is carefully considered and presented through photo-realistic visualisations before implementation begins.

This is the stage where the design truly comes to life. Every element of the scheme is developed, specified and visualised, ensuring you have complete clarity on the finished outcome before work begins on site.

One of the most distinctive elements of the JMD client experience is our immersive VR presentation. Rather than viewing static visuals, you are able to walk through your future home and experience the design exactly as it has been envisioned. This process provides complete clarity, allowing you to fully understand the design before implementation begins.

We put together a presentation for you to digest at your own pace and convenience. Typically this comes in the form of a document where we present not only the overarching design concept that has been developed throughout the process as a consistent base, but space by space where we detail individual finishes, fixtures, and pieces of furniture.

Once the design has been fully signed off, we then deliver the technical detail drawing pack. This phase of the delivery includes every detail and dimension required in order to implement the design.

Attention to detail is within every facet of the designs we create, so it's incredibly important these details are communicated effectively.

We don't want any element of the design to come down to interpretation: we want it done perfectly and the only way we can ensure this is by delivering the most detailed technical pack.

We have invested so heavily in the widest range of samples from the best suppliers across the world, encompassing all requirements such as easy cleaning, UV resistance; everything you could imagine!

This is where you can see, touch and feel all the fabrics, materials and finishes across every space. As part of our design aesthetic, one thing we love to do across every single project is to layer beauty upon beauty, to deliver truly unique schemes.

The schemes are developed initially based on the design concept renders, we then develop and work on these scheme boards with our clients to ensure we're capturing everything you're wanting from a durability, usability and budget perspective.

We have a team dedicated to FF&E and Procurement within the studio.

Once the design has been fully signed off in terms of the VR and physical sample boards, our team then collate every element to into a fully costed specification.

Once this has been presented to you we then move into the scheduling phase - where contractors and suppliers are officially enlisted and we get to work organising, scheduling and liaising the project details in line with implementation time frames.

Throughout the project, JMD work with the on-site team and engaged suppliers / manufacturers, to ensure the design and fulfilment of the project is executed to the best possible standard.

Jessica May Design have a regular presence on site, liaising with and working alongside the fulfilment team, overseeing the project and looking after the evolving needs of the project and providing information for the on site team.

We organise the full installation of the project, scheduling the installation team and undertaking the final styling phase in-house.

We pride ourselves in designing every single detail: right down to the very last candle placed. As part of our decor design & management, we produce a detailed decor specification & presentation, visualising how the exact pieces of decor that we've selected will look in your space.

Once the site is ready for the final phase install, we do all of this in house at JMD. We organise and schedule all deliveries of the finishing items, oversee installation of said items and complete the final styling phase.

Resulting in your beautiful new home being handed over to you and your family, completing the service.
